The right CRO agency in India depends on how much traffic your key pages get and where your funnel leaks, not on a listicle ranking. This guide compares eight agencies that publish real CRO services, in an unranked order, and says where each one fits.
A Marketing Director at a ₹30 Cr D2C brand usually arrives here with the same pain. CAC is rising, LTV is flat, and the ad account keeps scaling while the store converts the same share of visitors. Much of that leak sits in what NativeUnit calls the Delivery Clarity Gap, where customers hesitate because delivery dates, COD rules and returns feel unclear.
The stakes are higher outside the metros. IBEF's E-Commerce Industry Report from May 2026 puts Tier-2+ cities at about 65% of incremental online shoppers.
Most shortlists still start with A/B testing credentials. That filter is wrong for most Indian D2C brands, and the Test-Eligibility Check below shows why with arithmetic you can run yourself.
NativeUnit publishes this guide and is one of the eight agencies. It appears second, the list is unranked, and every claim about every agency comes from that agency's own site as of 9 October 2026.
Which CRO agency should an Indian D2C brand hire? It depends on your traffic and your constraint, not on a ranking. Below roughly 10,000 monthly sessions on the page you want to improve, hire for diagnosis and checkout fixes. Above roughly 40,000, a testing programme becomes viable, and experimentation specialists such as Tatvic or upGrowth win on depth. |
TL;DR
A CRO agency in India finds where paid traffic drops out of the funnel and fixes it through audits, checkout changes and tests.
This list is unranked. Eight agencies appear, ordered by how central CRO is to each agency's offer.
Every agency claim comes from that agency's own site as of 9 October 2026.
CRO quotes are built from scope, so compare pages, tests and developer time before you compare price.
The Test-Eligibility Check: at a 2% baseline and a 20% lift, one valid A/B test needs about 39,200 visitors.
Below roughly 10,000 sessions a page, buy diagnosis and fixes, not testing speed.
The failure mode is hiring on testing credentials when the leak is delivery clarity or COD.

What a Conversion Rate Optimisation Agency in India Actually Fixes
A conversion rate optimisation agency finds where paying visitors drop out of your funnel and fixes it through audits, analytics, A/B tests and checkout changes. In Indian D2C, the largest leaks usually sit at the COD versus prepaid choice, delivery-date clarity and mobile checkout, not in headline copy.
Unicommerce's India D2C Report 2026 draws on 6,000+ brands and 410 million shipments. In the festive quarter, COD orders came back far more often than prepaid ones.
📊 58% of COD orders were returned in the festive quarter, against under 15% for prepaid A Marketing Director reads this as a conversion problem and a margin problem at once. Every COD order that fails delivery carries ad cost, shipping both ways and a lost customer. |
The service set is similar across the agencies below. Expect a conversion audit, funnel analysis, heatmaps and session recordings, landing page and checkout changes, and A/B or multivariate tests.
What differs is the weight each agency puts on testing versus fixing. That difference, more than any logo wall, decides the fit.

The Eight CRO Agencies, Each in Its Own Published Words
The order below runs from agencies where CRO is one line on a long service menu to agencies where CRO is the core offer. That is our reading of each agency's own site, not a quality ranking, and a Founder should treat it as a map of scope.
OrangeMantra
OrangeMantra is a full-service digital agency headquartered in India, with offices in Gurugram and Noida. It claims 25+ years in business. Its CRO page lists user analysis, funnel analysis, landing page design, A/B testing and heatmaps.
It reports a +182% conversion rate lift over six months for a hotel booking company, and 17% better cart checkouts for a pharmaceutical marketplace app. It offers a free consultation.
NativeUnit
NativeUnit says it fixes growth systems across conversion, retention and content. Its site names the main conversion leak the Delivery Clarity Gap. The fix it describes is making ETA, COD rules and returns policy visible at decision points.
It reports 2X conversion rates through CRO as a headline figure, with no client named. Its FAQ says brands can start with one or two engines, such as Acquisition plus CRO. Limitation: it has no named CRO case study published yet, and it is a multi-engine partner, not a dedicated experimentation shop.
Socialee
Socialee is a digital marketing agency listing contacts in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and the UAE. Its CRO page covers conversion audits, customer journey mapping, landing page A/B tests, heatmaps and ecommerce page optimisation.
Its approach centres on micro-conversions and data-driven testing. It shows client logos, including Interakt and Zydus Hospital, but no outcome figures. Ask for references before shortlisting.
ROI Hunt
ROI Hunt is an ecommerce marketing agency that sells CRO beside Shopify development, performance marketing, Amazon, email and WhatsApp marketing. Its CRO page lists A/B and multivariate testing, landing page work and mobile optimisation.
It offers engagements with no contract and no setup fee, plus a growth guarantee whose terms are not explained. Its fashion-brand case study is titled "from 0.18% to 2.91%", with the brand unnamed.
icecubedigital
icecubedigital sells CRO as monthly retainers and one-time audits, with larger programmes for ecommerce and enterprise accounts. Its scope includes checkout and cart optimisation and RTO and prepaid conversion work. It tailors its approach by business model, from D2C and SaaS to local services and B2B manufacturing.
It states that below about 5,000 monthly sessions, standard A/B tests can take four to six months. The case studies on that page are PPC results, so ask for CRO-specific proof.
Tenet
Tenet runs an ecommerce CRO practice with platform-specific work for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce and BigCommerce. It lists an India office in Noida and claims 300+ brands served. Its FAQ also covers listing optimisation on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra and Ajio.
Its CRO services page describes ongoing optimisation and one-time audits, with a typical 3 to 6 month minimum. It also offers CRO coordinated with SEO, PPC and social teams, as a fully managed service.
upGrowth
upGrowth positions its CRO practice for funded Indian startups and growth-stage brands. Its six-phase process starts with a CRO audit in weeks one and two. It sells CRO as a monthly retainer, with landing page builds, ad creative and redesigns billed separately.
It cites self-reported results for Kemberly Home (250% higher average order value) and Lendingkart (5.7x qualified lead volume).
Tatvic
Tatvic is an analytics and experimentation specialist serving BFSI, automotive, media, ecommerce and D2C enterprises. It reports 1,500+ experiments with an 82% success rate. Its team model pairs a CRO strategist, data analyst, UX designer and developer.
Published results include Dot & Key (22% increase in purchases) and Gem Monk (31% uplift in add to cart). It recommends a six-month minimum engagement.
Why Testing Credentials Mislead Indian D2C Buyers
The assumption is that a CRO agency earns its fee by running A/B tests. So a Marketing Director builds the shortlist on testing tools, win rates and logos. The reality is that a test needs traffic, and most Indian D2C pages do not have enough of it to finish one quickly.
What usually breaks first is not the button or the headline. It is the promise around delivery and payment: when the parcel arrives, whether COD is allowed on this pin code, and what a return costs.
Inc42 Datalabs' D2C 3.0 report 2026 adds a second constraint. Spend is concentrated in a thin slice of shoppers, so who a test is aimed at matters as much as what it changes.
📊 2% of power shoppers drive 60% of India's ecommerce GMV Inc42 Datalabs reports that 2% of power shoppers, out of 958 Mn internet users, account for 60% of ecommerce GMV. For a CRO programme, that raises a segmentation question before any test: which visitors is this test for? Source: Inc42, May 2026 |
The Test-Eligibility Check: Match Your Traffic to the Right Agency
Run this before any agency call. It takes five minutes and tells a founder or marketing lead whether the brand needs tests or fixes.
1. Take monthly sessions on the page you want to improve, such as a product page or checkout. Example: 20,000.
2. Take its current conversion rate. Example: 2%.
3. Pick the smallest lift worth detecting. A 20% relative lift on 2% is 0.4 percentage points.
4. Estimate visitors per variant as 16 × p × (1 − p) ÷ δ². Here p is the baseline rate and δ is the absolute lift, at 80% power and 5% significance.
With those inputs, each variant needs about 19,600 visitors, so one A/B test needs about 39,200. Here is what that means at different traffic levels.
Monthly sessions on the tested page | Time to one valid test (2% baseline, 20% lift) |
5,000 | About 8 months |
10,000 | About 4 months |
20,000 | About 2 months |
40,000 | About 1 month |
This is a modelled calculation from stated assumptions, with every session entering the test. It is not a measured client result, so substitute your own numbers.
The rule that follows is simple:
• Under 10,000 sessions: buy diagnosis and fixes.
• 10,000 to 40,000 sessions: run one test at a time on your highest-traffic page.
• Above 40,000 sessions: a testing programme is viable.
Your constraint | Agencies whose published scope fits |
Under 10,000 sessions, with leaks at checkout, COD or delivery clarity | icecubedigital, NativeUnit |
Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento store needing platform-specific work | Tenet, ROI Hunt |
One partner for CRO plus the ads and channels feeding it | OrangeMantra, NativeUnit, Socialee, ROI Hunt |
Funded startup with 40,000+ sessions that wants a testing cadence | upGrowth |
Enterprise with analytics maturity and developer capacity | Tatvic |
A free first step before any retainer | OrangeMantra, NativeUnit, Tatvic |
If CRO is only one of several gaps, our guide to choosing a D2C growth agency in India covers the wider decision.
💡 Tip for Marketing Director teams Pull last month's sessions for your top three landing pages and your checkout. If none clears 10,000, ask every agency what it would fix without running a single test. The answers separate diagnosis from test-selling. |
How CRO Agencies Price Their Work in India
CRO agencies in India usually price by scope, not by hours. A quote is built from the pages covered, the number of tests per month, developer time and the length of the engagement. Two quotes compare only once those four inputs match, so ask for scope before you ask for price.
Pricing model | What you are buying | What to check |
One-time audit | A diagnosis of the funnel, tracking and checkout, with a fix list | Whether the fixes are built or only listed |
Monthly retainer | A fixed block of analysis, design, testing and reporting | Pages covered, tests per month and who builds the changes |
Outcome-linked fee | A share of the result, in place of or on top of a base fee | How the baseline is set and which numbers count |
Your traffic from the Test-Eligibility Check should shape the quote. A Founder under 10,000 sessions should ask for an audit and a fix list. A Marketing Director above 40,000 should ask for tests per month.
⚠️ Warning A monthly fee says little until a Founder knows how many pages, tests and developer hours it covers. Two agencies at the same price can deliver very different work, so ask each one for the scope behind the number. |
What Good Looks Like: Fixes Before Tests
Before: the agency's first 30 days produce a test roadmap. Headline, button and banner variants queue behind a traffic count that cannot finish them, while the COD and delivery questions sit untouched.
After: the first 30 days produce an audit of the buying promise. Delivery date and COD rules are visible on the product page. Payment options follow the order customers trust, and tests start only on pages with the traffic to finish them.
The pattern we see on D2C audits is that the second approach pays back first. It removes friction every visitor meets, not the friction a variant happens to touch. A COO or Ops Head tracks the same fix through RTO and delivery cost, not only the conversion rate.
In NativeUnit's system, the Conversion Optimization Engine owns this work. The Customer Acquisition Engine then adjusts traffic once the page can convert it.
When a CRO Agency Is Not Your Next Hire
Under about 5,000 monthly sessions on the pages that matter. A testing programme cannot finish. A one-time audit and a developer sprint do more.
Broken tracking. If GA4 does not record add to cart, checkout start and payment steps, fix measurement first. Any agency would be guessing.
A traffic problem, not a page problem. Wrong-fit visitors do not convert on a perfect page. Start with where D2C CAC actually leaks.
No way to ship changes. Checkout and product page fixes need a developer. Without one, a Founder's recommendations just queue.
NativeUnit specifically. It is not the right pick if you are pre-product-market fit, spend under ₹1 lakh a month on ads, or need a dedicated experimentation programme. Tatvic or upGrowth fit that better.
Conclusion
Choosing between these eight comes down to two numbers: monthly sessions on the page that matters and its conversion rate today. Under 10,000 sessions, hire for diagnosis and checkout fixes; above 40,000, hire for testing depth.
In NativeUnit's system, the Conversion Optimization Engine owns the buying promise, with the Delivery Clarity Gap as the first leak it closes. Once it is closed, acquisition spend meets a page that can convert it, and every later test starts from a clean baseline.

Frequently Asked Questions
No single agency is best for every brand. The right choice for a Founder or Marketing Director depends on monthly traffic, platform and whether you need fixes or a testing programme. Compare scope, engagement terms and named results before you shortlist, and ask each agency what it would change first without running a test.
